It's been a great summer! The best gig was ABATE of Nebraska, District 11's Spring Bash in DuBois, NE. We played both Friday and Saturday nights to an awesome crowd. It went over so well that we are already booked there for 2011 and, by popular opinion, have decided to hold DOD II there.

Other than that, the gigs have been fun, the crowds generally enthusiastic and we've had a great time. This Saturday will be our 2nd of 5 Saturdays in a row that we play and it's fairly typical of the way the year has gone. We've booked three gigs for 2011 already so next year could be just as fun

Man that's great news, you all sound awesome though so work should be easy to get for your band! The economy here has had an effect on alot of the music. I have been doing a bunch of duo trio work this summer but not to many full band gigs!

Thanks for the kudos on our sound - we sure enjoy it!

Oh yeah, the economy has definitely affected things here, as well... one of our "staple" playing spots stopped booking for the summer and just recently started bringing bands back in. The private parties are down and more folks are turnin' to the dreaded DJ for their receptions and other type parties. But, what can ya do?

Hopefully, as things pick up, we'll see the music scene pick up everywhere!
