Where do you find out about events?

Have you ever wondered why you can't find events/rides/shows easily around your area? I have -that's why I'm typing now. . . .

I'm curious where everyone goes to learn about things going on in their area. The only ride I've heard about recently got rained out, and I know there's gotta be more things going on than I'm aware of.

So, what is your favorite method of finding these things? I'm just curious, cause I'm failing miserably at finding any.. .

Maybe I just need to get one going of my own...

I use the resources I have with ABATE of Kansas, District 11. As webmaster, I tend to need to know a lot of what is goin' on so I can update our calendar. Cycleconnections.com is also a good source for some of the bigger rides.
