Pets... got em?

We just recently got a new addition to the household. She showed up on our doorstep a week ago Thursday... draining eye, skin and bones, barely a tail and obvious healed damage to her back paws. No idea where she came from... We couldn't just push her off the porch... the last thing we need is another cat but if we dump her, she'll die. If we take her to a shelter - 'specially this time of year - she won't get adopted and will be put to sleep.

Neither were options we particularly cared for... so, we have a third cat )

Wow that's a full house!

I've never been a cat person. But, to go with the two sons and one daughter we have an 80lb golden retriever and a 2lb hamster.

The golden sheds enough it's almost like having 2 or 3 more dogs!

Mike, you're a Saint. Meet me in Red Lodge and I'll -I mean Jimmy will- buy you a beer. (description says "coffee, but it has a head on top)

We currently have two cats, Mickey and Minnie. It's been a while since they slept like together this. He likes to dominate the younger cat, but she wants to be in charge, too. Minnie is the black one.

Later,

Charlie

Ok. I'm not a cat person, but that pic is disgustingly cute. And on a rainbow blanket no less.

good for you Mike ! that cat looks way too young to have so many issues. hopefully everything works out, i hate to see anything suffer.

So far, so good. She was boen with her tail that short... seems she is a Manx!

Antibiotic creme is handily taking care of the eye issues, they're looking much better

She is now acting more like a kitten, bouncing around and tearing across the floor - it's good to see
