Greetings from the tall grass fields

OK, I've lurked around here long enough. . . . time to step up!

I'm from Topeka, KS, and proudly ride an '86 ZL600A1 Eliminator. Not my first bike by any means, but one of the best so far!

I'm half-way past the half-century mark, so I should know better, but I still haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up, either, so .

So, where's the donkey?????

I tried, had it on the calendar, everything, but work and home conspired against me getting over to Helen's. It's one of my favorite places to stop by during a ride, and I really wanted to hear Mike's band, but it just wasn't to be.

Once Sablesurfer gets his bike back together, sounds like a good excuse for a NE Kansas/NW Missouri ride-around. . .

I dunno, he's got the first one under his belt now, might be like lightning striking twice. . . .

There are a couple schools of thought on that...

Actually, before his tumble I thought he was doing a good job of leading. A little fast maybe, but he was using hand signals and kept the group together. I'd ride behind him again.
