Can always use more

as many of you know, I enjoy LP records aka vinyl. the local GoodWill is a great source to pick up records. Yesterday while I was there I found a pair of speakers, not like I don't have a lot of them already but...

these are a good set circa 1978-81, heavy 50 lbs each and sold for $800/pr in '78, that'd be almost $2000 today. They need to have new surrounds on the drivers, i have a kit on the way.

They are RTR Model 300D's, they are called 3way but have 2 10" woofers, a 2" midrange and 1" tweeter, are in a solid maple enclosure with removable grill. One speaker has the normal water ring on the top where somebody put a glass or potted plant, I'll sand and restain both of them to try and eliminate that. They stand 42" tall.

Oh, and they cost a whopping $25

Yeppers, those are some big speakers.

Hope you have the power to push all of those.

i have two amps that i use as my A & B systems, each push 80wpc, thats RMS not Peak...its a different measurement. so, yes, I have plenty of juice to push em.

and btw, one of my amps when driving 4ohm jumps to 100wpc, either way they also deliver that power at .005% thd.
