Yep. We've been plugging in for weeks now, heated vest and grips, makes it enjoyable. It's a safety feature David, not bling so it's totally justified. A few years ago before I had heated grips on my meanstreak I rode into work, only 25 minutes but in minus temps and by the time I got to work I couldn't pull in the clutch or use my front brake cause my fingers were frozen solid. I pulled in my clutch with my wrist and pulled to a stop with my back brake and I couldn't get my keys out of my pocket to open the [email protected] door to get into work to warm up. I was almost in tears from the pain of my hands thawing. Since then the first mod on any bike is heated grips. I can stand getting cold just not my hands.

yup, i agree Brent, definitely a safety issue. i should be good next year with a fairing and hopefully heated gear. i will ride a LOT more often with that setup.

It is predicted to be in the mid 50's all week here. another 3 or 4 weeks and full riding season will start for this area.

as many of you know, my brother Tim is from Maui.
I just got off the phone with him and he was telling me how DESPERATE he was to find the liner for his leather jacket.
He was also looking for a place to buy a face mask for his freezing ride home from Tommy Bahama’s @ 2:00am.
FREEZING!!!!
It was 65 degrees last night…

WOW, Frank, did you tell him to slap himself or wake up. That is a nice riding day weather.
