Woke up to snow this morning, how utterly depressing.
I'm betting it'll melt a whole lot faster this time though.

Couple of weeks buddy, spring is almost here.

ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 20 CM EXPECTED BY THURSDAY MORNING. THIS IS A WARNING THAT SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS.
A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA INTERIOR COMBINED WITH APPROACHING ARCTIC AIR FROM THE NORTH IS SPREADING SNOW HEAVY AT TIMES OVER SECTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN INTERIOR TODAY. ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 20 CM ARE EXPECTED FOR WEST COLUMBIA, NORTH COLUMBIA, EAST COLUMBIA, YOHO PARK - KOOTENAY PARK, ELK VALLEY AND FRASER CANYON BY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 10 TO 15 CM ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE OKANAGAN, SIMILKAMEEN, BOUNDARY AND ARROW SLOCAN REGIONS LATER TODAY AS THE ARCTIC FRONT SLUMPS SOUTHWARD. THE HEAVIEST SNOW OVER SOUTHERN REGIONS IS EXPECTED TONIGHT AS THE ARCTIC AIR COLLIDES WITH WARM MOIST AND QUITE UNSTABLE AIR MOVING IN FROM THE SOUTH. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS OF 40 TO 60 KM/H NEAR THE ARCTIC FRONT WILL GIVE AREAS POOR VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO TAPER OFF THURSDAY MORNING AS THE FRONT MOVES INTO WASHINGTON STATE. FRIGID ARCTIC AIR COMBINED WITH BRISK NORTHERLY WINDS WILL GENERATE EXTREME WIND CHILL VALUES NEAR MINUS 40 IN THE BRITISH COLUMBIA PEACE RIVER REGION TODAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
