Job hunt update

I've been feeling kind of worried because last week was pretty much a wash for Alan's job hunt. We were traveling on Monday and Tuesday, and then there was the holiday. So I was nervous today, hoping that one of the companies he interviewed with two weeks ago would call or that one of the headhunters would call with a lead.

This morning Alan got a call from a brand new headhunter. I don't know where he got Alan's name. But that makes four headhunters looking for jobs for him. :-) And then late this afternoon, even better news: The company in Petaluma that Alan interviewed called to set up a phone interview for him with the chief technology officer. Alan has already been told that if the CTO likes him, the company will have us out for an in-person interview. And the CTO is calling at 7:00 tonight! Kind of a weird time to call, but it tells me 1) that they're really interested in him, and 2) that they want to move quickly. We are really hoping that the Petaluma thing comes through, so we're cautiously optimistic.

Wish us luck! It's pretty scary, both of us being unemployed.

It's in northern California, Gene. About 30 miles north of San Francisco. In Sonoma County (wine country!) and next to the redwood forests. Supposed to be some great riding around there.

Hey, David, Alan got another call this morning about a job in Boston. :-) Who knows, we may end up in your neck of the woods.

Ahhh that does sound like a great territory to be riding in.

Wow, well, any updates??? The California job would be cool...(of course this is about us!)...we have that house about 150 miles from San Fran.. And of course our Boston Connection...

David, I love how you call us "the gals"!...that's great!!!

I didn't know Alan was unemployed, what happened there?

Good Luck!!
