I'm taking the kiddos to SchlitterBahn for 4 days/nights.

It's close, inexpensive, and they'll have the time of their lives. It totally makes their summer.

The band and I are hoping to take another weekend ride. We hope to cruise from Kansas, through Missouri, into Arkansas on a Friday and stay the night. Get up Saturday and cruise through Devil's Den State Park and over Boston Mountain yo check out Artist's Point then stay another night. Get up Sunday, ride into Oklahoma then back up into Kansas and home.

That sounds like a nice ride. I just wonder when my arm will be back.

I also need to think about doing the valves. I should have my son lift the tank off this weekend and see what my gaps are. I've got time to get the shims in before I can ride anyways.

Actually, since RL is cancelled this year, I'm trying to talk my buddy into trying to make the event in Arka-ssouri in May with me. I just don't want to ride alone if I can help it.

I'm still between bikes, but the Harley Rental place is only about a mile from my house.

My Freedom Cruisers group is looking to make a ride in June. They're going down to the museum in Marquette, back up to Lindsburg for the night then down to Cassody on Sunday and home. Think they're shooting for the June Cassody date on that. If you'd like to go along I could get you in contact with them. You don't have to be a member to ride along.

Even if I'm riding by then I'll be knee deep in model airplane preperation. I've got a a couple guys coming from California and another coming from England for me to pick up and haul to middle missouri for SPADfest 2010. It's gonna be a banner year at SPADfest and if I wasn't doing computer geek stuff I'd be stripping an airplane right now. I've got my arm back enough for that.

If you do this thing in June, please let me know. I'd be up to meet with your group in Topeka and ride along the rest of the way. . .
