they give you a cheat card to carry in your wallet when they hand you your HOG pin and teach you the secret handshake! If I convert 10 people I get to meet Tom Cruise... no wait, that's something else.

And I love the sleek look of the Street Glide as well. Get a topbox for those long trips and you'd be set up.
I bet that given the "economic condition" down there, you could proabably find a good used Street Glide at a very decent price.

it really is a sharp looking bike and i have always said that if i wanted a dresser it would probably be HD cause there isn't anything else out there that impresses me. believe it or not, the tank is 6 gallons.

As we all know.... you are the one who will be making payments, you are the one who will be throwing your leg over it. You've got to be happy. Buying the Road King when I love the Nomad and the V2k so much was literally painful for me, but I love the bike and how it looks and how it ..."feels". Test drive (rent if you have to so you can REALLY work it) an 09 (08s are not the same). If you love(too big a nut to just like it) it and it won't break you, buy it and don't look back.

thanks Frank, i am going to think seeing what i can do to give one a rip.

ok, so here's another opinion i got from Jay (btob). he was around and riding HD for quite a few years and a LOT of miles. he also used to sell Boss Hoss. he recommends that i stay away from HD, cause he knows how i ride. he doesn't think they will live up to the abuse i would dish out. any thoughts ????

It is funny, but their is some truth to it.
Honda seems to bring out their anniversary edition goldwings every 5 years. So since I am in the market to buy a goldwing, i might as well get the anniversary version when I am ready to buy. I figure around 2015 I will be ready to take the plunge.
