Default Darkside

Anyone here go darkside with their bike? I've got a 900LT that will need a rear tire next spring and I am seriously considering it.

Thoughts?

i don't like it, but i have a few friends that swear by it and those guys ride. i would just do some research and read about it so you know what to expect if you do go that route. just not for me after watching someone with a car tire in front of me.

i just didn't like the way the bike cantilevers up onto the edge of the tread. you really still have decent contact patch but those tires are not meant to be used like that. pretty sure the bike actually lifts up a bit. go on youtube and do a search to find the Goldwing with the car tire. you'll know the one i mean, cause the guy mounted a camera to the bottom of his bike, aiming backwards and then proceeds to run an obstacle course so you can the how the tire acts. pretty scary if you ask me, but like i said, i know a few guys that swear by them and they certainly RIDE their machines.
