Well, I've gone and done it now. . . .

in 13 days, I will retire after almost 20 years with the State of Kansas, 30+ years in my career field, and 40+ years of daily employment! It's been a long road to retirement, but it's definately time.

I've always wondered what I was going to do, when I grow up, but I'm still on the fence about growing up!! Does one have to grow up to be a retiree???

In any event, in the near future, you may see a long RV hauling a red & black Kawasaki ZL600 on the back in your area. The wife and I are going to become full-time RVers for the next 10-15 years, while we're still young enough to enjoy it, and in our travels, I hope to get to meet several of you along our ventures.

And if anyone is in the area between July 30th & August 16th, the drinks are on me - well, I mean, I'll pay for them, not wear them!!!

BB, you're quite right about that!! Now, I'll have the time to do some of the riding I've been wanting to do. I've still got a few family members living in/around Independence, and when I'm down in your area, I'll be looking you up!!

Yup, Neewollah itself!!! In fact, you'll find our family name still on a couple of places down there. Several uncles worked for Sinclair Oil, others are still farmers - the family still haunts Montgomery County. . . .

Riding and eating are two of my favorite things to do. I look forward to it!!
