Default trailer pulling

could someone tell me how big of a motorcycle do I need to pull one of camp trailers ? is 1500 a good size?

It really depends upon the size of the trailer. Most MOMs will tell you that you are not supposed to (like the VN900) but a lot of people do anyway

I heard somewhere that it says in the Goldwing manual that hauling a trailer is not recommended, but you see how many of them there are, color coordinated even.
When I was a yonker I new a guy that hauled a trailer with him and his wife all over the place, with a 400 something. I just got a Harbor Freight trailer kit to put together to haul with my 900. I have another acquaintance on the internet that has the same setup and has no problems.

THIS is the link to the Delphi Motorcycle Trailer Towing forum. You can ask a number of folks with your size ride questions about what your experience will be. I may need to run 55 instead of 70 down the interstate, I may ONLY be able to do 55 instead but from what I've been told with MY setup, the biggest problem I'll have is forgetting that it's back there.

Of course right now the Delphi forum is down. I'm guessing you must have registered and been the straw the broke the servers back.
