Default ole yeller checks in

I am not sure why a guy who has a very nice motorcycle forum already feels the need to start another one, but, since the list of things that I don't know is a lot longer than the things that I do know, that in itself doesn't surprise me. Big Jimmy said that he needs people to sign up and as appreciation for the BTK forum I signed up.
I have now bookmarked the site and will stop by every time I am goofing off on the computer, I mean, doing some
important research.

I guess too many were put off by the "Kawasaki" word. In their defense, it took me a while to migrate over here because I expected a bunch of cruiser riders. I never thought to broaden the term to include riders who like to cruise around on sport touring, sport, off-road and UJM bikes.

Later,

Charlie

Well in the crazy world of aggressive branding, it is understandable that a more all encompassing name might attract more riders. I never had a prob with the BTK name cause my last 2 bikes were Kawis, but I have no illusions about brand loyalty, each company has its share of good bikes and ordinary bikes.

Well, I have been checking in here every day for a week and, no offense, but it occurs to me that if this site doesn't get some more members who regularly check in, then Big Jimmy might have to change the name to 'Big Jimmy's Cruiser Ghost town'

New forum... it'll take a little bit to really get up to speed - hang in there!
