I guess the helmet would be for your runs into MO? Doesn't every other state bordering KS not have a helmet law? I don't think badMedicine brought a helmet at all.

Nebraska (north) requires it, Iowa (northeast) does not, Missouri (east) does, Arkansas (southeast) does not over 21, Oklahoma (south) does not and Colorado (west) does not

I would have brought one, if I would have known I was going into MO, I felt like I was crossing into enemy territory, having to borrow a helmet, lol, luckily Mike fixed me up with one, Thanks Mike ! I guess thats what happens when I'm a "none of the gear none of the time" kind of guy, next time I'll "bring" one. Might keep from scratching up my sissybar if I go down

I'm usually in the same boat... mine live on a shelf in my garage except for rare oscassions

Don't have this one, but I have one with the drop down tinted visor which is a real nice feature when going thru tunnels and other lighting changes...
