N.E. Kansas/N.W. Mo/S.E. Neb ride for Afghan vet

On Oct. 24th, a benefit ride for an Afghan vet who lost his legs will be held in Topeka, KS. More information is on the flyer. I don't have any involvement with this ride, other than posting it here for all to see. There are several of us thinking about participating, so if you decide to come along, look us up!!

I may have to try and make this run, I'm about an hour and 45 minutes from Topeka. I'll have to see what the weather's doing.

Come on over if you can, Rob. So far, there's three H/D drivers, a Honda VTX and my Eliminator so far interested, so if you do come over, let me know and we'll be looking for you. I've got the same concerns with the weather.

Mike, can you get away on a Saturday morning/afternoon? Of course, if it's not over until 4:30pm, might be kinda late to try and get back for a gig. . .

It'd be a bit rough... the gig on the 24th is about an hour outta town and is an 8-12 instead of a 9-1 gig. So, we'll be leaving for Huron around 4:30 instead of our normal 6:30 leave-for-gig time.

That sucks cuz it sounds like a good ride for a good cause.
