Yeah, it might be a little tough on the Zed. Maybe a bracket bolted to your frame slider. I think most of those I've seen have probably been adventure bikes with engine guards so there's lots of bar space to bolt aux lights, camera mount etc. Another handy use for those jugs on a boxer.

I took a metal stick and mounted my RAM mount o it and secure it off the side of the rear seat (like an outrigger) once. It gave a great perspective on the ride.
I've also focused the camera sideways across me, and pointed it down at my foot and the road.

Now that's dedication, a bunch of Aussie's riding around California. Can you imagine the logistics ($$$$) of getting your bike from Australia over here?

I mounted one of our camera to the meani on the back, behind me and pointed at the front wheel/road area. It was mounted to the passenger peg mount. It was not a pretty site. I got some excellent footage for a bout 4 minutes. But in that time the vibration backed out all the screws in the camera body. When I discovered it, three was one lone screw holding the camera together. It has not worked right since that day.

Kinda like when I soaked mine in salt water. This was Jodie's Dad but I got soaked by another wave while holding the camera. The camera didn't work for two days, but then started working for awhile, then started acting weird till I finally had to chuck it.
