For sure it's gonna go David. I would think that anyone could tell them that, but maybe their brainy types are too busy looking in their books to realize what it looks like to the average Joe.
It is a huge piece of the mountian, and I don't know how they would safely blow it, but I'll bet it comes down one way or another.
There are a few homes in the path as well, and they are under a voluntary evacuation order right now, though I believe they have all temporarily relocated for now.
This is the only North South highway in our Valley. The route that Brent and I took is at minimum a 2 hour detour. Their are a number of logging roads which one can detour on also, which cuts down on travel time too.
