Default ZX12 paper weight

Sporties and everybody else..... learn your bike and give it some respect. This is a bike after the kid had it for 2 days.

Gotta have the biggest, baddest bike you can find if you've never ridden before. Isn't that the rule?

Saddly enough, for some it does seem to be that way.

It took me 15K miles to go from a 500cc bike, to a 1000cc vtwin sport bike. The TL also scared the crap out of me for a few thousand miles before I was confident about my ability to not do something really stupid.

Some people don't possess that healthy fear (or respect as I like to call it) for machinery. They just assume they are in control no matter what and ZOOM! away they go.

Man, ya gotta take your time. As soon as you feel like you "own" that piece of machinery, it *will* come up and show you that you don't.
